The Crew
Mateo and Lea have been in San Blas for many years. Captain Mateo started sailing at age 18 with his older brother in his hometown Colombia and Panama. He's worked in many boats in San Blas. Last year he got his Skipper certification in Barcelona. Lea is an amazing chef from Germany. She went to culinary school and is also an incredible cocktail maker. Their pup Maluca was born in San Blas and got adopted by the crew when she was a baby. Malu is super sweet with guests and loves to play on the beach.

THE BOAT: This catamaran is a 1997 40ft Nautitech.
ACCOMMODATES: 8 guests
CABINS: It has 4 double bed cabins for guests and 2 bathrooms, one in each hull, for all to share.
FOOD: As a food artist, Lea can make any dish taste delicious, but in San Blas she focuses on seafood with the fresh veggies and fruits of the season.

We made the trip in April/24. We had high expectations for this trip, BUT......everything was exceeded. The boat (Harmony Catamaran) is very cool. Our Captain (Christian) - super experienced, attentive, careful, etc... and the girls (Lara and Candela), our spectacular Argentinian Chefs.
Summary of the trip: We want to go back soon!!!

Everything about our time on the Harmony was amazing! We stayed 2 nights/ 3 days and loved every single minute of it. We were comfortable and Mateo and Monica are awesome hosts- Mateo planned for us the islands we went to and gave us great activity suggestions. Everything was perfect. We swam, snorkeled, paddle boarded and explored 4 different islands which all had a slightly different vibe but all felt like paradise. Monica can cook her butt off and prepared amazing food each day including fresh lobster, octopus, tuna, etc. If you are thinking about doing this, do not think twice! We highly recommend it!

We sailed around the San Blas islands for 3 days and nights with Mateo and Monica. It was unforgettable. Picture postcard views, incredible food, sailing calm waters during the day with a surprising amount of windspeed and falling asleep at night, after some stargazing, with a cool breeze on our faces. Mateo and Monica make a great crew. They are both super friendly and personable. Mateo has extensive knowledge about the Islands, the waters and the indigenous population. Monica has lived in Panama for decades and used to own a restaurant. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners she manages to prepare in that rather small kitchen are unbelievable. Me being a vegetarian was no issue at all, which is something I wondered about before going. Thanks again Mateo and Monica! Hope to see you once again soon!
