The Crew
Captain Elena Fischer has been sailing in San Blas since 2014, knows the islands well and has tons of Guna friends who she'll happy introduce you to. She's an avid volleyball player, so if you're into beach volleyball, you'll have a blast with Captain Elena. What's amazing about her is that she personally completely refitted this boat when she bought it with the help of volunteers but mostly her own will strength. You'll be amazed to see the top notch work she's done in this boat that looks very new.
Chef Milena is from Medellín, Colombia. She is 33 years old and has traveled through many countries learning different cooking styles. She has worked in gastronomy, bartending, and hospitality. She is also an artist, tattoo artist, juggler, and veterinary assistant. She has been living and traveling on different boats for about two years, and she speaks English very well.

The San Blas islands are some of the most beautiful and secluded islands we’ve yet to visit! Captain Elena was absolutely terrific and took us to all the best islands for walking, snorkeling and, my favorite, paddle boarding! The Elena is well equipped, comfortable and sailing was so much fun. The biggest surprise was the delicious and beautiful food cooked up by chef Leah. I don’t know how she made such delicious food with the limited resources in the islands but she did. The two sweet pups on board were even better swimmers than us! It was just such a special experience. The San Blas islands are kind of a trek from Panama City but the once difficult roads are now newly paved and in great condition. Captain Elena will organize the transportation for you to and from the vessel. There were options to do day trips from the port but in order to fully experience the islands you need to go out further for at least 3 days. Book the Elena, you won’t be disappointed.

We were two couples fortunate enough to spend 7 nights in January aboard the Elena. Our goals were beautiful snorkeling, sunshine, and to be in a peaceful environment away from crowds. This trip delivered those things and so much more. Elena is a skilled captain. Leah and Greta completed the team. They were all professional, kind, and fun to be around. The addition of two adorable pups made the perfect week even better. We snorkeled every day. We enjoyed pristine white sand beaches on tiny islands. We marveled at the stars. The food was simply amazing. Not only was it delicious but it was also beautiful. We ate three incredible meals a day. We're not sure how they created that magic in a tiny boat kitchen but we sure enjoyed it. It was fun having small boats arrive selling seafood and produce. We also enjoyed Mola shopping right from the boat. Elena can set up your ground and water transportation to and from Panama City. You have the option of shared or private transport for both.

Amazing charter. Elena is a world class captain and an amazing navigator who traverse the cultural landscape of San Blast. Lena the cook creates the best food that we still dream about after the trip. They source local ingredients to create truly exceptional meals.
