The Crew

Hi! I am Guadalupe, an adventurous traveler from Argentina who’ve been sailing here for 3 years and love to invite others onboard to share the experience of living on the water alongside the Guna people, eating great fresh homemade food, and maybe even learning a bit about sailing! I learned lots living here during the pandemic (without regular food supply) and love to share our low impact, sustainable way of life with you. So expect less packaging and more love in all that we do!

For 10 days I had the pleasure of sailing the San Blas islands with Guadalupe on her boat Thyra, what an experience! If I had access to all of the worlds words in every language there has ever been, I still could not adequately describe the unparalleled beauty of the area or the sincere hospitality and friendship they showed me. The islands are something from another world entirely. The food was absolutely exquisite, the adventures were something from my dreams and the overall experience will be impossible to forget. Guadalupe created something that is exceptionally special and if you have the opportunity to share this journey with them, you must take it. There is absolutely nothing to change or regret, this could be the most amazing place on earth.

My wife and I spent a few fantastic days on this cool vintage sailboat. It was such a unique warm experience that I'm struggling to find the words to describe it. It was a great pleasure to get to know Guadalupe,  we had some great conversations. She took perfect care of us and tailored activities to our interests. If you're looking for fancier comforts you'll probably be more suited to a tourist catamaran. This is real life sailboat living! Delicious well prepared food- homemade crepes, fresh barracuda fillets...then while snorkling I watched the Captain spear lobsters we had for dinner) Playing and living on the boat for a few days was the highlight of our trip to Panama.

We were on the Nomadas Del Mar for 2 nights and 3 days. We wish we were on for much longer. Alvaro and Celia were amazing hosts. They cooked amazing food (some of which was caught fresh that day whilst we were snorkelling). We ate octopus, crab, lobster and yellow snapper. We were blown away by their cooking. We went snorkelling together on several occasions. We padel boarded to the islands where we bought coconuts and lay in hammocks.
