THE BOAT:
Kinetic is a 2010 Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 sailing catamaran. She has a large covered cockpit for dining or relaxing in the shade with seating for 8+ in back, and a trampoline in front for sunbathing, sight seeing and star gazing. She has a full galley / kitchen and salon for indoor dining and the comfortable spacious cabins with queen beds below share a full bathroom with shower. Captain and crew have a bathroom separate from the guests.
We have fishing gear, kayaks, paddle boards, a dinghy for island exploration, snorkel gear, floating toys, high speed internet and offer all inclusive food and beverages.

CABINS:
Guest cabins offer excellent views through large windows as well as ventilation from top hatches and port windows.
Guests have the entire starboard hull just for them, with two cabins and one private bathroom. The third guest cabin is located in the port hull.
Bathooms offer hot showers, electric flush toilets, and excellent ventilation.
FOOD:
It'll be fresh and delicious Latin American inspired food with local ingredients brought straight from the sea to the boat.

The Crew
Captain Shawn Watkins, a seasoned sailor with over 20 years of experience navigating the seas. Fluent in English, with some Italian and Spanish, Shawn ensures a smooth and unforgettable journey through the breathtaking San Blas Islands.
Chef Ludivia was born and raised in Colombia. Ludi is a passionate chef who curates a delightful journey of Latin American flavors. Drawing on travels throughout South and Central America, she brings an authentic and unique set of skills, with a focus on vibrant Colombian cuisine. Ludi is delighted to provide her culinary expertise and gracious hospitality while mastering life aboard a sailboat, dedicated to providing guests with memorable dining while experiencing the unique and stunning San Blas Islands.
Together, this dedicated crew creates an atmosphere of comfort, safety, and indulgence, ensuring every moment on board is as extraordinary as the destination itself.

The San Blas archipelago contains hundreds of islands. We visited only a handful, yet each felt infinite. Shawn inhabits his catamaran the way a librarian inhabits her library: with quiet mastery over a world that seems impossibly vast. Ludi prepared our meals with a care that suggested ritual. We brought our daughter, who is three and exists in that liminal state where memory has not yet calcified into narrative. Perhaps she will not remember the stars we watched from the deck, arranged in constellations whose names we did not know, or watching the clouds and imagining their personifications. Perhaps she will... we hope she will. We snorkeled among sharks and shipwrecks. And on one private island, with Shawn's discreet coordination, I proposed. She said yes. Time, which had felt suspended, resumed. We will return. Thank you Shawn and Ludi for everything.

Beautiful experience, Shawn and Shari are excellent hosts, we had a great time. We had the catamaran just for us, super comfortable and clean. Shari is an excellent cook and very fun, Shawn is a very good captain, he knows the area very well and we had a comfortable and safe navigation. We had a great time on New Year's Eve, we had lobster and crab for dinner! The sea in the area is calm and warm, we spent a lot of time in the water! We recommend this lovely experience.The boat was quite nice. It had showers, locking bedrooms with windows, a front deck, back deck, etc. It was perfectly clear and had every amenity I needed. It must have been a very expensive boat. It seemed to be brand new or very recently purchased. It was also quite private. My girlfriend and I had all the space and privacy we wanted when it was time to relax and avoid the crew. Food was excellent and healthy, the crew had excellent service, and San Blas was amazing. Stellar snorkeling, spear fishing, kayaking, etc. I write such a long review because I'm so grateful to Giorgio and the team. Really a one of a kind that I am grateful for and vigorously endorse!

Our week with Shawn and Shari was AMAZING! A vacation of a lifetime: relaxing, inspiring, beautiful and filled with adventures. The San Blas Islands are stunning, with snorkeling to match the best we've experienced in the Caribbean. The star-gazing at night was "heavenly." What made our Kismet experience extra special were the warm and wonderful hosts, who ensured we had a wonderful time. Shari's cooking was delicious & abundant, and she served a variety of tasty meals all week, accommodating a gluten-free request, and creatively making meals from available fresh fish, meat, fruits, and veggies. Shawn navigated us to an assortment of picture perfect islands, and led us on daily snorkeling adventures. We were delighted to see rays, squid, sharks, & an assortment of other fish & incredible coral. So much fun! We loved experiencing boat life first-hand, and learning about conservation (e.g.: power & water) and safety. We felt pampered and are grateful to new friends Shawn & Shari :-)
