The Crew
Brazilian Captain Gabriel knows San Blas like the back of his hand and will take you on unforgettable sailing, fishing and snorkeling adventures. He loves to play the guitar as well so make sure to ask him to bring it out after a nice evening meal. His first mate and partner Cota is a wonderful hostess. She's very artistic and very creative. The third mate is their adorable 2 year old daughter Maia. Maia was basically born on the water so is a great sailor. She loves to take dinghy rides with her dad and taking walks on the island to play with island pups and local guna kids.

THE BOAT: Maia is a 45 ft. X Yacht. This Norwegian X 452 model was made in 1990 and it is considered the Ferrari of the seas! it's super fast and made to sail like a champ even in the harshest of conditions. As is common in Nordic design, beauty is not sacrificed for comfort. This vessel has a beautiful wooden interior and you'll feel right at home. The comfortable salon and cockpit make of this boat a top choice for a sailing trip.
ACCOMMODATES: 6 guests
CABINS: Maia has 4 cabins, 3 have double beds and 1 has two single bunkbeds for up to 6 guests plus crew.
FOOD: Cota is a superb chef. Her artistic side comes out in the kitchen where she'll get inspired to prepare delicious meals with freshly caught fish, veggies and local fruits.
LANGUAGES: The crew speaks Spanish, Portuguese and English.

We spent wonderful days aboard the Maia in San Blas. Gaby was very attentive, took us to visit some islands, and prepared wonderful meals; he's a great cook! The sailboat is super cozy, and the days on board were incredible!
