Welcome to Sancho!
The Crew
Colombian Captain Jules has been sailing back and forth from Panama to Colombia since 2010. He is super experienced in the area and has gotten to know great anchorages with pristine beaches, islands where no other boats anchor, islands where the locals are the friendliest. He is great friends with the local Guna tribe, so his passengers get to meet the local people with someone that has an insight, understanding and respect of the Guna culture. Jules' first mate is his lovely dog Sancho, a dog born in San Blas that has captured the heart of the whole sailing community here. He's the most popular sailor around!

Perfect 3 day trip to San Blas on Jules' catamaran. Spacious enough for our group, with friendly service and delicious food. We enjoyed snorkeling and exploring the island with Captain Jules' recommendations. Would recommend for a relaxing San Blas escape!

Jhis 42ft catamaran with Captain Jules is a hidden gem for exploring San Blas. Despite being an older model (1993), it's constantly upgraded and offers a comfortable experience. The highlight? Captain Jules himself. His years of sailing between Panama and Colombia mean he knows the best anchorages - pristine beaches, secluded islands, and encounters with the friendliest locals. Jules' deep connection with the Guna people allows passengers a unique cultural experience, providing insight and respect for their traditions. Bonus points for Sancho, Jules' adorable first mate and a local canine celebrity! The provided snorkeling gear, kayak, and paddleboard add to the adventure. If you're looking for a personalized San Blas trip with delicious homemade meals (courtesy of Jules!), this catamaran is the perfect choice.
